The I-Scan™ Sensor is a hand held Laser Scanner for non contact digitization of large objects. The I-Scan™ ability to adapt to any surface saves you time and frustration when compared to conventional scanners.

High-speed Scanning
The API I-Scan™ is characterized by a very high data collection rate: more than 9000 Points/sec - this is 30% more than comparable scanners. When scanning for the same amount of time, the I-Scan™ will produce a data model with substantially greater detail.

I-Scan™ advantages:

• Compatible with the latest API Trackers Tracker3™ and Omnitrac™
• Simple to use and easy to handle thanks to the ergonomic design and eye-safe class 2 laser
• No need to build up your muscles, the I-Scan™ is extremely light at just 1.0 kg (a third less than comparable scanners) which you will appreciate, more and more with longer scanning jobs.

The I-Scan™ is perfectly coordinated with the API Laser Tracker. API Trackers can be upgraded with the I-Scan™ Scanner at any time.

More is less: The reduction of time-consuming temperature regulations provides a superior reliability, stability and accuracy. The laser beam exits the tracker head without being returned.

Robust and durable for any environment:

API Trackers are applicable at temperatures between -10ºC und 40ºC. Maximum allowed barometric pressure 522 mmHg - 836 mmHg. Humidity: 10-98%, not-condensing. Maximal operating altitude: 2000m.

Easy to Transport:

A fully packaged Laser Tracker including all accessories weighs only 23kg. The individual weight of the tracker head is 8.5kg, and the controller 3.2kg.
