ROCKVILLE, MD (March 17, 2011)—Automated Precision Inc. (API) today released its TrackerCal 4™ software package with an industry-first feature that takes the user from “power up” of the Tracker3™ and OmniTrac™ laser trackers to a complete reporting package, delivering comprehensive data in PDF format. The latest version of API’s core software package brings more to both the novice and expert user of Tracker3™ and OmniTrac™ laser trackers. The PDF-based reporting capability of TrackerCal 4™ provides the user with documentation suitable for traceability requirements, presentations or internal cost justification needs. Of course, this reporting feature makes sharing results with remote locations ideal, as the PDF attaches easily to emails. TrackerCal 4™ also provides the user with an easy-to-use graphic interface. The intuitive interface naturally leads any user through set up to calibration and prepares the laser tracker for use. Calibration procedures for Tracker3™ and OmniTrac™ have been simplified using TrackerCal 4™ and advanced calibration diagnostics have been added. For users who require controlled access and use of their laser tracker, TrackerCal 4™ includes diagnostics with password protections to provide flexibility in access. TrackerCal 4™ can be registered with Automated Precision Inc. at www.apisensor.com/register.
