Omnitrac™
The new Omnitrac™
is based on the new T3-Laser Tracker and is substantially more compact than any other laser tracker on the market, thanks to its innovative construction principle without the need for active and complex temperature compensation. The thermal image testifies a homogeneous temperature distribution. Steering mirrors can get dirty, optical fibers can fail, however API doesn´t suffer from either of these issues thanks to the unique, on-the-shaft mounting of the laser head unit.
The superior fully enclosed design of the Omnitrac™ permits measuring in almost any environment. Soot, oil, electrical interference, and extreme temperatures are no problem.
Omnitrac™ - API´s most economic Laser Tracker
Following many customer´s requests, API has developed their most economical system, the Omnitrac™. The Omnitrac™ is a Tracker3™ based Laser Tracker which utilizes the same advanced TurboADM (absolute distance measurement)
technology, but without the laser interferometer.

API Trackers equal Thermal stability
Where other manufacturers depend on built-in ventilators in order to control thermal expansion, API benefits from an unique, on-the-shaft mounting of the laser head. The thermal image of API Laser Trackers ensures a balanced temperature distribution without any hotspots.
Site conditions:
Omnitrac™ is applicable at temperatures between -10ºC und 40ºC and have an air pressure between 522 mmHg - 836 mmHg. Humidity: 10-98%, not condensing. Maximal operating altitude: 2000m.
Transportation mass:
Transport packed laser trackers weigh only 23kg inclusive all accessories. The weight of the tracker head amounts to 8.5kg, the controller weighs 3.2kg.
