PolyWorks® 3D Metrology Software Suite with API Laser Trackers
PolyWorks® is the standard point cloud engineering software solution for major automotive and aeronautic OEM manufacturers and suppliers worldwide with customers such as BMW, Boeing, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, Ferrari, GM, Honda, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Toyota, and Volkswagen. PolyWorks has become a global corporate solution that enables the corporate-wide deployment of standardized methods for comparing parts to CAD, analyzing GD&T, virtually gauging dimensions, meshing high-density point clouds, and rapidly surfacing digitized meshes.
API/PolyWorks integration
API and PolyWorks are integrated through a free plug-in that supports API's Intelliscan for non contact digitization of large objects, as well as the Intelliprobe for the measurement of hidden geometry and complex shapes. API users can perform point cloud and probed-based data acquisition and data analysis directly from the software interface, providing live results and instant feedback on the quality of the part being measured.
